The Napaway Story /

Ironically, the Napaway story didn’t begin on a bus—it began on an airplane.

Napaway founder Dan Aronov was on a long-haul flight with a colleague who had always experienced issues fitting comfortably in an airline seat. This time, however, the pair were bumped up to business class—which on this airline, meant lie-flat beds, increased amenities, and privacy.

It was an eye-opening experience into just how comfortable and relaxing travel could be, and it gave Dan a thought:

“What if we could take a bus, and make it exactly this comfortable and pleasant?”

Dan partnered with Butterfly Flexible Seating Solutions, a designer of business class seats for the airline market. Together, they spent several years designing and prototyping the concept, working to create a premium coach experience that would combine the comfort and privacy of a first-class airline suite with the convenience and flexibility of bus travel.

The result: America's first true first-class bus.

Napaway launched ticketed service between Washington DC and Nashville in the summer of 2022 to rave reviews from the New York Times, Washington Post, Good Morning America, Business Insider, and beyond.

Following significant customer interest, the company transitioned into the charter market beginning in the spring of 2023 and began building a network of partner operators. Today, Napaway and its partners operate charters across the United States and Canada, serving a diverse list of clients that includes several major league sports teams, Grammy®-winning musicians, and university programs, among many others.
