Why I Started Napaway

I don’t know any other way to put it: I love to travel.

I love the excitement of it; the discovery, the friends, the memories. When I’m in a not-so-great mood, the thought of an upcoming trip has a powerful way of making me excited, of giving me something to look forward to. And of course, when I’m in a good mood, the thought of an upcoming trip makes me downright giddy.

Sometimes travel means exploring a totally new place; sometimes it means going back to an old favorite. But usually, it’s not about the place at all—it’s the people we’re traveling with or the people we’re going to see.

Whatever the case, travel breaks up the day-to-day with a splash of something memorable. And when I look back on the past couple of years, the things I remember most vividly are the trips I took and the special moments I shared with family and close friends.

That said, the actual traveling part of travel is usually… kind of terrible.

It’s stressful, it’s logistically complicated, and it’s often really unpleasant. If you don’t organize everything and book flights way in advance, it becomes absurdly expensive. And if you drive, you’re looking at hours in a cramped car.

We all want to travel more, but most of us rarely do—because traveling isn’t easy

I don’t like that. And I don’t think it needs to be that way.

That’s why we set out to build a method of travel that removes those barriers. Something that’s convenient, comfortable, and stress free. Something that lets you book your trip in advance, or the day of, or 10 minutes before departure.

The result is Napaway—a new type of premium sleeper coach service that leaves from convenient pickup points, provides you with your own personal suite to relax and sleep in, and makes travel easy.

All you have to do is show up, hop in, make yourself at home, and arrive the next morning after a comfortable night’s sleep. No airports, no security lines, nobody sitting next to you, no stress, and no last-minute rip-offs.

The truth is, I built Napaway for me—because I really want to use it. And I think you will too.
